Sector prompts are starting hypotheses, not research findings or validated brand facts. Replace placeholders, verify claims and have a responsible person approve the final content.

Brief quality and strategic thinking

Which brief should I start with?

Use Brand foundation when identity, positioning and evidence rules are unclear. Use Creative production to hand a defined idea to makers. Choose Campaign strategy for channel roles, testing and measurement; choose Consumer insights when the real need is to resolve an audience or evidence gap.

What separates a senior-level brief from a filled-in form?

It makes the business problem, behaviour change, audience tension, distinctive promise and decision criteria explicit. It names the evidence behind each claim, shows the choices rejected and identifies who decides. A polished template cannot substitute for a validated insight or experienced judgment.

Are sector prompts research-backed recommendations?

No. Each sector example is a planning hypothesis and a question to investigate, not an empirical market finding or performance forecast. Replace assumptions with dated research, approved brand information and credible category evidence. Note the source, method and confidence.

How should we define an insight and an ICP?

Describe a specific customer situation, motivation or tension, then separate what you observed from what you infer. Specify market, behaviour, need state and relevant exclusions. Record where the insight came from. Do not label a general demographic stereotype as validated audience knowledge.

Why does the brief suggest two creative routes?

Routes should differ in a meaningful idea, proof structure or creative mechanism, not only colour, crop or copy length. Keep the offer, target, placement and CTA consistent when comparing them, where practical. Neither route is declared a winner before evidence exists.

From document to creative decision

Should I complete the advanced strategy fields?

For an exploratory draft, the core fields can be enough. For agency-to-client or cross-functional approval, add the business problem, behaviour to change, insight provenance, competitive context, KPI baseline, budget, timing and approval owner. Missing inputs should remain visible, not be invented.

What happens when I select Prepare in BrandSprk?

You are taken to the relevant Brand Profile, Campaign Intelligence, Creative Generation or Creative Testing flow. The draft is offered for explicit acceptance and remains editable. Preparing a draft does not approve a claim, execute a test, generate an asset or start a charge.

Can Creative Testing tell us which campaign will perform best?

No. Synthetic responses help identify clarity issues, differences in interpretation and questions worth investigating. They are directional model output, not a representative sample or proof of incremental sales. Validate consequential choices with appropriate real-world research and live measurement.

How can this reduce wasted generation spend?

Clarifying the job, proof requirements and rejection criteria before creating variants can reduce avoidable iterations. Use controlled routes and check costs before submitting a paid generation. Savings are not guaranteed, and every eligible AI action remains subject to plan and credit controls.

Who signs off the work, rights and performance claims?

Your brand or agency team retains responsibility. Name the decision owner and obtain approval of product facts, claims, licensing, visual rights, brand identity, local regulations and final assets. BrandSprk provides decision support, not legal clearance or publication authorization.

Personal templates, access and data

Are the briefs free to use?

Selecting, editing, copying and downloading a starter uses no AI credits and needs no account. Paid Creative Testing and image generation are separate, explicit actions. Their availability, credits and limits depend on the current plan and enabled features.

Can I use my own agency or brand briefing format?

Yes. Choose Use my own template and paste Markdown or import a .md/.txt file. BrandSprk fills recognized placeholders from the fields you supply while leaving unknown placeholders untouched. You can export both the personalized brief and your reusable source.

Which placeholders are supported?

Common fields include {{brandName}}, {{offer}}, {{audience}}, {{market}}, {{objective}}, {{channel}}, {{proposition}}, {{proof}}, {{tone}}, {{constraints}}, {{sector}} and {{briefType}}. The advanced fields also support {{businessProblem}}, {{desiredBehavior}}, {{humanInsight}}, {{insightSource}}, {{competitiveContext}}, {{kpis}}, {{deliverables}} and {{approver}}.

Will my custom format be saved or shared with colleagues?

Not in this first release. The editor and file import operate locally in the current browser session; a reusable source can be downloaded for later use. There is no synced account library, version history, approval workflow or team sharing for personal formats yet.

What happens to my draft and can I use Arabic?

The editor supports English and Arabic output. Choosing Prepare uses a short-lived browser-session handoff to an eligible in-app screen, where you must explicitly apply it. Download a copy for long-term storage; do not rely on this handoff as a saved account record.

Build, copy and download without using credits. Running creative tests or generating assets uses existing paid-access and feature controls.
